Executive Summary

A Preying Mantis was observed on the sliding screen door.

Introduction

I first noticed the Mantis on my way outside.  I was like, “that bug’s as big as my biscuit.”  It was at that moment I decided to launch an investigation.

Findings

The Mantis has huge eyes.  It also moved when I swiped my paw at it.  It appeared to turn and look inside.  That was quite unexpected.

Conclusion

Preying Mantis’ are capable of entertaining both pit bulls and humans for at least five to ten minutes.
