Who Is Tigger?

He is a Pit Bull going on 2yrs. In his younger days, Tigger wasn’t treated the best. He has “battle cropped” ears due to his original owner wanting him to look tough. He was crate trained as a pup and is house broken. He lets you know when he wants to go outside. He’s been in and out of shelters until he stumbled across a path to help him find his way.

For going through what he has, Tigger is amazing. He has characteristics that would make anyone smile. His color is gorgeous. You could call him brindle with white accents on his paws, some of his face and chest; he knows he looks good when he gets all kinds of compliments on his walks.

Tigger is full of energy and life. He absolutely loves fetch. However… not only does he play fetch, he also loves catch. Tigger knows basic commands of sit, lie down, and stay. When it comes to fetch, he will bring you the ball when you say “here”, and he will drop the ball only when you say “drop it”. He is very smart and learns quickly. I don’t think Tigger is afraid of anything, although he’s not crazy about vacuum cleaners (But what animal is, right?).

One of his best features is his smooshable face. He will come up to you when you are sitting, rest his head in your lap and wait patiently until you pet him. His least appealing feature is how much he drools, but there’s no way around it and it only adds to his character. He wants to go wherever it is you are going. He likes long hikes and car rides.

Hopefully the next home he ends up in will be a forever home. How could you say no to this face…..
