Adoption Information
All dogs are up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before adoption. Guardianship Application, home visit and reference checks are required. Minimum adoption fee is $150.

It's a bird...it's a plane....no, it's something even better, it's our SUPERMAN! Superman is the most affectionate, loving boy despite what he's been through. At one point he was attacked by another dog which required his tail to be amputated. His former owner was a gangbanger who went to jail and left Superman tied up with no food or water. He was covered in feces and urine and emaciated. He's now experiencing the puppyhood he never had, and he's so happy to be alive. He's very light on the pit bull and looks mostly Lab or Aussie Shepherd with maybe a hint of bully in there. He's about 1 1/2 years old and 50 pounds. Superman likes playing with tennis balls, but the attention he gets from humans while playing is what he really lives for. He knows how to sit and will do it with gusto when carrots or bananas are the treat he's trying to earn. He's a totally happy-go-lucky boy who would be a sweet family dog.

Update: Superman's girlfriend, Venus, was lucky enough to find herself a foster home. This is great for her, but not great for Superman as he lost his play buddy :( He urgently needs a foster or adoptive home!
