All dogs are up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before adoption. Guardianship Application, home visit and reference checks are required. Minimum adoption fee is $150.

Hazel is a special girl who really needs an especially understanding owner. She was rescued from a high kill shelter in IN because she has a unique way of talking and speaks the language of "growl" :)

We were worried about this behavior at first but decided to give her a chance as she had shown no aggression. We have been fostering her for a few months now and she is quite the talkative sweetheart. She grumbles when she fetches (which is her all time favorite thing!) and when she begs and its just her way of talking. She is a Boxer mix with an adorable underbite who we love dearly but since she prefers all the attention to herself and wants to be an only dog, we are sad because she has to spend a lot of time separated from our dogs and really needs a home all to herself. She is only about a year and a half old, about forty five pounds, and is non destructive, housebroken, and cratetrained. PLEASE consider adopting her!
